Manifestations of the Terpsichorean Muse

Moving beyond the basic woodturning forms of bowls, boxes, and hollow vessels, I am interested in trying new shapes that are created primarily on the lathe. The pieces shown here are some of my work in this direction.

This series consists of groups of objects made up of portions of turned forms. The individual objects can be placed in different positions relative to each other, adding an interactive element. These objects are decorated using the same surface enhancements as the Mondrian series.
